Kristina Engstrand är en envis åkare som alltid försöker pusha sig själv, trots att det ibland saknas både erfarenhet, teknik och talang för ändamålet. Detta har inneburit en lång och blåmärkig inlärningskurva i longboardsammanhang. Kristina älskar race, men det är under freerides som hon visar sig från sin bästa sida. Framför allt tror Kristina att det mesta är möjligt och i rätt mood är hon inte sen att prova om det funkar. Kristina kallas också för Mama B rd och leker gärna kärringjävel då och då.

Aight. I just wanted to say something about my friend, The naked truth. We became buddies last week while we had some coffee togheter in the early hours. She had some smartass stuff to tell me:
” The truth is Kristina, your oldschool footbraking is fine, but if you want to freeride with the fun roads, its time for u to learn proper slides and standies… whenever, whereever.”
Enough said, shes right. But though I still have a long way to skate, its fun to see how you develop ur riding from one season to another. Heres one “before and after picture” from the Moosehuntrace, the one to the left is from 2012, and the other one, the year before. Be positive, stay positive.

Morning.
So. My mr right guy crashed last week while we were practicing standies. Except from the weekend when I had to earn my living we have spend the hours in bed. Mr right was not happy about me working though, he cried and wanted us to go back to sleep. I did shut him up with painkillers and the addict himself had nothing more to say. Beside that the two of us has become quite good pals with documentaries on youtube, the coffeeshops in the neighbourhood and of course, Bob and his jellyfish. Cant skate? Go paint.
But also. I got my new custom made leathersuit yesterday. It was custom made for the model that the makers used the time it was sewed. So. Big, black and bombing beautiful – your coming with me as my todays outfit. I really need to get on my board again.
